High School

As high school students claim who they are as individuals, they also claim their own faith.  Sunday morning classes give them opportunity to name and claim their personal faith, work out how their faith impacts the life journey they face and the decisions they need to make about who they will be in the world. Service opportunities and missions trips are great opportunities to practice their faith while having fun! If you have questions or need more information, please contact our Christian Education Director at children.youth@umcmh.org or the Church Office at office@umcmh.org.

Sunday Morning Class, Grades 8-12

9:15 - 10:15 a.m. during the school year

High Schoolers and 8th graders not in confirmation class work with a curriculum called Leadership Lab. Students learn to recognize leadership traits within themselves and how to apply them in Christian service.

High School Youth Group, Grades 9-12

The High School Youth Group has grown to include ministry to the Madison area community. The students help plan and serve on an annual mission trip that usually takes place during spring break. Everyone is encouraged to invite friends to come along to help offer service and musical entertainment to people in need. Planning for additional trips and outings is underway!
