Pastor Becky’s undergraduate degree was in civil engineering from the University of South Florida, and she worked as a professional engineer for several years before deciding to pursue the call to ministry that God had placed on her heart. She attended Asbury Theological Seminary in Orlando while working as the Assistant Pastor at Skycrest UMC in Clearwater. Pastor Becky then took a unit of Clinical Pastoral Education and worked as a hospital chaplain for six months before her first official appointment as a Provisional Elder at Riviera UMC in St. Petersburg. She served there for four years, then served as the Associate Pastor at Saint Paul's UMC in Tallahassee for four and a half years. She was ordained as an Elder in full connection in 2022 in the Florida Conference.

Becky, Ted, and Adam are very excited to be at Mount Horeb, for this new adventure (and the snow), and for all that God will do through their time here.  They are most excited to be a part of a church that has made a commitment to be inclusive of all people.  Pastor Becky is passionate about issues of social justice and putting faith into practice for personal and  community transformation.
