Bible & Book Studies
Throughout the year we offer various book and Bible studies, open to anyone who would like to participate. These provide opportunities to build understanding of the Christian faith and grow as disciples of Jesus. If we have any current or upcoming studies, you'll find the details below.
Liturgy of the Ordinary Summer Book Study
Sacred Practices in Everyday Life
Classes begin Thursday, July 2, at 7:00 p.m.
Meet in person or on Zoom, join any time!
Pastor Becky is leading a book discussion on “Liturgy of the Ordinary” by Tish Harrison Warren as an accompaniment to this summer’s worship series.
The sacred rhythms we incorporate are intended to make us more aware of the divine presence all around us, but we don’t have to restructure our entire lives. Warren brings this sacred awareness to everyday tasks like brushing our teeth, making the bed, and eating leftovers in a way that is refreshing, humorous, and low-pressure while bringing a depth of meaning and intentionality that is exactly what we all need.
