"Ladder to the Light" Book Study

Join Pastor Becky on Tuesday nights at 6:30 via Zoom for this book study that will take us through December and January (8 sessions starting Dec. 3). We won't meet on Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve but will meet Sunday evening, December 29, between the two holidays. 

Choctaw elder and Episcopal priest Steven Charleston offers words of hard-won hope, rooted in daily conversations with the Spirit and steeped in Indigenous wisdom. 

Excerpt from the Introduction:
"I am a person at peace, at peace within myself, at peace with the world around me. All my other faults are intact and fully apparent, but deep in my spirit’s core, I am a calm soul. What does that mean? According to the ancient tradition, it means I have something I can share. The peace I feel is not something I am to keep, but give away. So, please receive the one true thing of value I can give: this offering of peace for your life."

Meet in the church library

New study begins late winter 2025

Seekers bible study meets weekly on Tuesday mornings from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the church library.  All are welcome to join.  We get together in the fall, take a break over the holidays and early winter, then do a different study in late winter and spring.


Members of the study purchase a study book. Most of the studies include a short DVD we watch of the author who teaches about the week’s discussion focus. Then we discuss the week’s topics and bible verses. We delve into the bible to increase our knowledge of God and to apply this knowledge and instruction to our lives to help us grow as a Christian.


The study we will start in late winter of 2025 will likely be “Wrestling With Doubt, Finding Faith” by Adam Hamilton. Seekers bible study is led by Paula Craft, Lay Leader. Please contact the church office if you would like more information 608-437-3088.
